A good start to the year
Mark finished 6= at the Quinovic Waikanae Pro Am with 4 under par (68). Then went on to Finish 11= at the Ferndale Paraparaumu Pro Am with even par (71). The Jimmy Napier Classic yielded only 32nd place with 1 over par (73), but great success at the DHL Global Forwarding/Recreational Services Masterton Eketehuna Pro Am with 7 under (135) for two rounds which became an 8th placing.
Mark finished T62 at Asian Tour Final Stage Qualifying School
Mark handed in scores of 74, 71, 75 and 65 to finish T62nd place, only the top-40 receive an Asian Tour card for 2011. However, it is possible that Mark will still be able to play in some of the smaller tournaments in 2011 thanks to his 2010 order of merit ranking of 86th. Get ready for lots of updates of Mark dominating at the New Zealand events.
Preparing for Asian Tour Final Stage Qualifying School
Mark is now preparing for the Asian Tour final stage qualifying school (19th-22nd January 2011) to attempt to improve his category and gain further tournament entry opportunities for the 2011 season.
Cancel Qualifing School Attempt Due To Illness
Mark is not to be able to attend final stage Australiasian PGA/first stage OneAsia qualifying school (20th-23rd December 2010) due to illness.
Asian Tour 2010 Wrap Up
Mark has returned from playing the 2010 season on the Asian Tour (see summary here), and is now preparing for the Australasian PGA/OneAsia qualifying schools.
